Caller ID Spoofing (When Your Number Is Used by Someone Else)

Caller ID spoofing occurs when scammers place calls using your phone number as the caller ID, even though the call did not come from your business or your LineOne phone system. This does not mean your phones were hacked.

Spoofing can happen to any phone number, regardless of whether it is hosted by LineOne or another provider.

Because these calls do not pass through LineOne’s network, they cannot be fully blocked or prevented.   Reporting Caller ID Spoofing
