How to Update Yealink WH62/WH63 Headset Firmware
At a Glance – Updating Your WH62/WH63 Headset
Download and install Yealink USB Connect from support.yealink.com.
Place the WH62/WH63 headset on its charging base and power it on.
Connect the base station to your PC using the provided USB cable.
Open Yealink USB Connect → go to Update device.
Click “Update Now” to install the latest firmware (or choose Update Manually if you have a file).
Keeping your Yealink WH62/WH63 headset up to date ensures the best performance, audio quality, and compatibility. Updates are completed through the Yealink USB Connect software with the headset seated on its charging base.
Update Using the USB Cable
Download Yealink USB Connect
Go to the official Yealink Support website and download the latest version of Yealink USB Connect for your PC.
Install the software.
Power on and position the headset
Turn on the WH62/WH63 headset.
Ensure it is securely seated on its charging base.
Connect to the PC
Use the provided USB cable to connect the charging base to your PC.
Run Yealink USB Connect
Open the software. Your headset should be detected automatically.
Check for and install updates
Go to Update device in the software.
Choose one of the following:
Update Now – Automatically installs the latest firmware.
Update Manually – Select a firmware file if you already downloaded it from the Yealink support site.
