Business SMS Opt-In Process
Before any initial message can be made back and forth to your customer/client, there needs to be an “Opt-In” process. It can be more efficient, especially with a new customer/client, if at the time you are working with them initially, you ask them to send the word START to the number you are using for Texting/SMS messaging. That way you can start sending them messages right away.
After sending an initial message to your customer/client, you will receive a message - (Customer/client will not see the actual text of the first message)
Your Customer/Client will see this message as well –
Once they have replied with START, you will receive this message. Which at that point you will need to resend your message.
